Job Description
Center of Hope Counseling, located in Mount Pleasant, MI, is a Specialty Practice that specializes in Eating Disorders, Anxiety, Depression, and Trauma. We are currently looking to expand our Clinical Roster with Clinicians that share the goal of providing evidenced based therapy in order to provide the best treatment possible for our patients.
We are seeking Independent Contractors who excel at establishing a good rapport and trust with our patients. Potential Candidates must have a comprehensive understanding of the therapy process, including assessment, treatment planning, as well as have the ability to implement treatment and / or intervene based on DSM-5 and ICD-10 diagnosis. Experience in Trauma and Eating Disorders is a plus!
Required Competencies
- Experience in working with Teens and Adults
- Performs specific interventions for patients supported by Evidence Based Theory
- Strong Oral and Written Communication Skills
- Ability to coordinate and work well with other providers
- Uphold the absolute best practice standards for complete and timely documentation
- Participate in Clinical Consultation
- Must demonstrate a capability for critical thinking, problem solving, professionalism, decisive judgement, and the ability to work independently.
- Understand and Uphold HIPPA Federal Law regarding patient confidentiality
- Computer Proficient
- Ability to coordinate and plan within a timely manner
- Ability to establish and continue effective working relationships with others
-Eager to learn and engage in ongoing trainings
