Our Services
Individual Counseling: Individual face to face and virtual therapy is provided by therapists whom specialize in anxiety, depression and eating disorders. Goals of treatment include, but are not limited to, building skills to regulate emotions, understanding and resolving underlying issues that contributed to the development of mental health issues, building healthier relationships, improving self worth, gaining ability to utilize effective coping strategies and reducing fear. During the assessment process the therapist and the client will discuss additional services as listed below that may be beneficial and an important part of the treatment plan.
Evidenced based treatment: EMDR, DBT and CBT are offered by clinicians who have specialized in providing these services. These treatment options are available both in person and virtually.
Dietetic Services: Although many eating disorder clients are their own "experts" when it comes to calories and food information, dietetic services are an important addition to treatment as a whole. Our program refers to online dietitians including
* Berry Street Nutrition (they are able to bill some insurance companies)
* Fay Nutrition (they are able to bill some insurance companies)
* Gina Sellinger MPH, RDN Gentle Nutrition with Gina - [email protected] - (231) 735-8155
* Allison Mankowski's Contact info: Level Up Nutrition - [email protected] - 989.400.3491
Case Consultation: To ensure effective treatment, the treatment team as mentioned above will hold regular consultation meetings. A comprehensive approach is necessary to foster recovery.
