Hi there,

No one should have to face hardships alone. I became passionate about becoming a therapist to be able to walk alongside others who are facing struggles and to remind them that healing is possible.

My goal as a therapist is to provide a safe and understanding environment for everyone who walks through the door. My top priority is to provide comfort, safety, and a setting for growth. I provide a strengths-based approach to counseling where we focus on strengths you already obtain to continue your journey of healing. I lean primarily on techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Mindfulness practices. I believe each client deserves a session tailored to your current wants and needs.

I have experience working with victims of domestic violence, people facing food insecurity, and with people experiencing mental health crises at an inpatient hospital. These experiences have helped shape the current demographics I work with including teenagers 15+ and young adults. I have experience in working with depression, anxiety, life transitions, self-esteem, and coping skills. Additionally I have a passion for working with individuals experiencing disordered eating patterns.

When I am not at work I am often engaging in self care activities which for me includes spending time with my friends and animals, hammocking, reading, watching shows, listening to music, and doing crafty activities. I currently love doing puzzles, crocheting stuffed animals and clothing, and making jewelry like earrings to express myself. I also love coffee as one of my comforting tools, especially in our Michigan winters.

Education: I am near the end of my journey as a counseling intern, getting my master’s degree in counseling from Central Michigan University projected in December of 2025 where I also got my bachelor’s in psychology in 2023.
