Hi there,
I feel being heard is the most valuable piece to any healing.
Taking the step for change can sometimes be a hard choice. I strive to create a safe and understanding environment where you can feel heard in a nonjudgmental space. Working together we can challenge and process the steps toward your healing and growth.
As your therapist, I will work alongside you to develop goals and teach you the functionality of your challenges and uncomfortable feelings. We will step together towards feeling different and resiliency.
I specialize in working with preteens to young adults, but am comfortable with individuals across the lifespan. I am rooted in the practices of person centered and cognitive behavioral therapy approaches and have been trained in the TRAILS to Wellness program. I specialize in working with anxiety, depression, trauma stress reduction, and life adjustments.
In my spare time you can find me deep in a good book or spending time with friends and family.
I have a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from Central Michigan University in 2018. I also work at Mt. Pleasant High School as a School Counselor.
