Hi there,
I’m glad you’re here. This is a space where we can begin exploring who you are and what you need - together
I am a Traverse City based therapist.I have experience in working with adolescents from diverse backgrounds and life experiences. This includes working for a non-profit supporting refugee families, as well as working in both public and private schools. I am also a Michigan licensed school counselor.
As a therapist, I specialize in working with adolescents, athletes, performing artists who struggle with perfectionism, anxiety, body image and eating disorders. My approach to counseling is strengths based and solution focused, incorporating mindfulness and somatic techniques. I enjoy helping clients find their path towards body trust and body neutrality.
Outside of the therapy room I enjoy trail running, mountain biking, and adventuring with my husband and 4 daughters. I am originally from Fairbanks Alaska and I am an avid outdoor enthusiast and winter sport lover.
Education: I received my Bachelors degree from Northern Michigan University, and my Masters in Counseling from Western Michigan University in 2021.
