Hi there,
You don’t have to face the hard stuff alone— I became a therapist to support others in walking through the sticky parts of life.
I focus on anxiety, depression, life transitions and eating disorders in my work with teens and adults. I deeply believe that you are the expert in you, but sometimes it takes a space where you can pause and reflect on some of the more challenging parts of existing on this earth to make changes that allow you to thrive.
In my practice, I use a person-centered approach but greatly lean on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Mindfulness techniques. Each client I work with is unique and deserves a treatment plan that reflects that.
In my free time you can find me spending time with my husband, our son, and two dogs spending as much time outside as possible. I enjoy spending my warmer months in a kayak, on a bike, or hiking to see some of the wonderful views in our great state. I love moving my body and appreciating it for what it can do. I love slowing down with a warm cup of coffee in the morning and an iced one in the afternoon, gardening and watching the leaves rustle in the trees.
I received my Master’s in Professional Counseling from Central Michigan in 2018 after completing my Bachelor’s in Psychology also at CMU.
