Hi there,

I spent my early career in higher education, working with students from admittance through graduation, helping them to find the drive and passion to succeed. As a therapist, I still work to help my clients find a drive and passion to move through the tough spots in life and learn what they can about themselves. I am a true believer that we each hold the power to make our way through any obstacle…sometimes we just need a little guidance to get there.

I offer a person-centered approach that focuses on CBT and solution-focused therapy. I work to meet my clients where they are and take the time to truly get to know them and what they are feeling. Whether working through anxiety, depression or an eating disorder, I offer my clients a space that is open, welcoming, and comfortable.

Outside of work, I can be found reading, playing with my dog or spending time with my family. I am a huge sports fan and love watching my youngest on the football field. In the summer I am usually near or on the water taking in as many warm days as I can. Northern Michigan is my happy place – especially in the summer and fall.

I received my bachelor's degree from Central Michigan University (Fire Up!) and my master’s in counseling from Buena Vista University in Iowa.
